Goodbye Great-Gran

I flew out to Toronto to spend days and nights at my Grandma's bedside. After almost 91 years, our formidable matriarch and loving Great-Gran passed away. We will miss you Grandma. Your strength and will and courage, determination, quiet faith, and insightful mind will be remembered.

Bowmont park

 Grandma Jan came with us for a bike and walk through the park. Kona swam and we watched people surf from the bridge. On our way home we stopped for some highflying teeter-tottering.

 The honeybee was amazing in our hollyhocks.

Kindness

 Alex and her family and friends were so kind and invited us to stay at her place on Tie lake in B.C.. It was beautiful and we tried to wake board for the first time.

 Adlai went from not wanting to swim in a lake to jumping right in with glee by the end of our two weeks of camping.

 We went on rides and played in the water park until we dropped.

Sandpoint

 The lake was weedy but warm and the kids liked the interpretive center.
