It has been unseasonably cool and now we have our first real snowfall.

Goodbye Torrey Pines

 We said goodbye to Torrey Pines and to San Diego.

The Birch Acquarium

 These are baby jelly fish growing on what seems at first glance to be a lovely necklace.

My new favorite animal - the leafy sea dragon. I never even knew they existed until I came to the aquarium. Their movement is mesmerizing. They are the closest thing to a real life mythical dragon I have ever seen. It took me over half an hour to get a photo that wasn't blurry - they just keep undulating.
